CAN I HAVE A GOSPEL CHOIR AT MY CHURCH WEDDING? 26.02.25
We sometimes get asked by enquiries whether it’s ‘allowed’ to bring a gospel choir such as Vocal Works Gospel Choir into a church to sing at a wedding.
The short answer is….YES!
Sometimes you’ll need to get permission from a vicar first, but 99.99% of them are very welcoming and really enjoy having something a little different contributing the music to the service.
How can we contribute? Here’s an example…
2 Songs – as your guests are being seated
1 Song – for the bridal or groom entrance
2 Songs – during the signing of the register
1 Song – for the exit
Plus we can boost the volume in any traditional hymns that you choose for your guests to sing and we can even provide piano accompaniment for these (when booking 4 or more singers to perform).
We have sung every pop/soul/rock tune in our repertoire during church services – as all of them are positive and appropriate to be sung in church.
For all enquiries, just fill out a form here and we’ll be in touch (usually within 24 hours)
ROLL ON 2025! 17.02.25
We’re so looking forward to singing at lots of weddings in 2025!
After the usual post-Christmas lull, we’ve been busy singing at wedding showcases in The Mount Without and Bath’s Guildhall recently – with the next wedding of the year taking place shortly in Priston Mill….such a great venue!
We’ve got some new songs to add to our repertoire list too – so keep an eye out for clips on our social media pages!
